Dear Detectives, here is the patch notes for this week
[Update Notice]
A new update will become available after maintenance on October 14, after which the game's engine will be fully upgraded. To ensure an optimal gaming experience, we highly recommend that players update to the latest patch. Detectives who complete the patch update between October 14 (after maintenance) and November 25 (before maintenance) will receive rewards, including a Limited-edition Portrait Frame, Character Trial Card (3d), A Costume Trial Card (3d), and 188 Clues, which will be realised on 8:15, Oct 14.
Packages for certain channels will be available from October 21
After the maintenance on October 28, Detectives will not be able to access the game unless the update is completed.
[Season Essence]
Season 18 Essence 2 is now available! New costume updates include Wax Artist's S Costume - Fury, the Coordinator's A Costume - "Susanna," and the Bartender's A Costume - Soprano. Players who purchase the S Costume "Fury" will receive our newest Hunter, the Wax Artist, for free!
At 80/130/180 draws, players can receive the following bonus rewards: [Portrait] Bartender - Soprano/[Portrait] Coordinator - "Susanna"/[Portrait] Wax Artist - Fury.
The Promised Neverland Crossover Part 2 has come to an end. All unopened Crossover Essence Chests will be opened, and the rewards on the Logic Path will be replaced by S18 Essence 2.

External Trait [Waxen Coat]
The Wax Artist is enshrouded by a wax coating generated by his sister's wax statue, granting him protection. When the Wax Artist is stunned by Pallets or Abilities, his waxen coat splashes all over Survivors and objects within a certain range, and the Wax Artist's stun recovery speed is increased by 10%.
Tier 0 Ability [Sputter]
The Wax Artist sprays wax in front of him, covering Survivors and objects on the map.
Waxed: Wax sticks to Survivors when they are hit by Sputter or come into contact with wax-coated components. At 20%/50%/80% Waxed status, Survivors will have their pallet and window Interaction Speed reduced by 5%/10%/20%, and their Decoding Speed is reduced by 10%/20%/40%. At 100% Waxed status, Sputter will trap Survivors in place for 3 seconds. After the effect ends, Survivors' Waxed progress resets to zero, and they cannot be affected by wax for the next 3 seconds. Pallets, windows, Cipher Machines, and Exit Gate switches will also be unusable for 8/8/10/10 seconds after reaching 100% Waxed status.
Tier 1 Ability [Solid Wax]
The Wax Artist cools and solidifies the wax in his spraying device. Hold the ability button to charge and launch a wax block. After the wax block falls to the ground, it will attach itself to nearby Survivors and objects. The longer the button is held down, the faster the speed at which the wax block will be launched. The charging duration must be at least 0.5 seconds.
Tier 2 Ability [Molten Wax]
The Wax Artist heats his wax, causing its temperature to rise sharply. For a set period of time, Survivors who come into contact with hot wax will be burned. When Wax Burn progress reaches full, it increases Fear by the same amount as a normal attack, resets to zero, and cannot be reapplied for 3 seconds.
The Wax Artist will be available for Deduction. Complete the final deduction quest to receive the Character's Deduction Reward "Worn Clothes."
The new Hunter, the Wax Artist, will be temporarily unavailable in recreational modes.

- Improved the interactive animation for the Furniture "Warhorse," making its playback smoother and more natural.

- Added the following AI Survivors to the Custom Mode: Magician, Perfumer, and the Mind's Eye.
- Adjusted the Lucky Guy's chances of successfully Wishing for a Decoy to 100%.
[Experience Improvements]
- Added a filter option for Limited-Edition Portraits and Portrait Frames. Selecting it will display "Limited-Edition" Portraits and Portrait Frames.
- Optimized descriptions for certain Portraits and Portrait Frames, and specifically added clarity to the descriptions for "Limited-Edition" Portraits and Portrait Frames.
- Optimized the description for [Condensed Essence] to reduce misleading information.
- Improved the fur textures on [Geisha - Lady Thirteen] and [Bloody Queen - Lady Bella] to make their lighting effects more realistic under certain changes to ambient lighting.
[Bug Fixes]
- Fixed an issue with the Gamekeeper where the special effects of the Golden Horn Accessory would disappear.
- Fixed an issue with the Grave Keeper where, after receiving protection from the Seer's Owl, using Underground Sneak would cause the Owl's model to get stuck next to the Grave Keeper after emerging from the ground.
- Fixed an issue with the Survivor AI where, after being Intimidated by the Herald's Cat and having their abilities disabled, they were still able to use items.
- Fixed an issue with Survivors where the button to dispel the Demon Notes would remain active and could be interacted with even after being affected by the Violinist's Demon Notes.
- Fixed an issue where the Prospector's Lithospheric Egg and Star Globe were displaying improperly in Single Training Mode.
- Fixed an issue where Nightmare-difficulty AI Hunters would incorrectly begin vaulting when located near certain windows.
- Fixed an issue where the message "Hunter doesn't have Detention!" would sometimes display after Detention ended.
- Fixed an issue where, after a Survivor escaped through the Exit Gate and entered Spectate mode, their Quick Messages would not disappear.
- Fixed an issue with the Dream Witch's Followers, where the cooldown for the Leech ability would not decrease when attacking Survivors while Ballooning.
- Fixed an issue where a portion of event costumes could be mistakenly unlocked using Costume Unlock Cards.
- Fixed an issue with the Cowboy where, after setting down another player while facing a collision object, that player would get stuck inside the object if they took damage while being set down.
Negative Play and Cheating Penalties
It has recently come to our attention that a small number of players have been found guilty of non-participation, negative play, and cheating, all of which significantly affect the experience of other players and threaten the game's fairness. In the future, we will intensify the punishments for such behaviors in order to provide a healthy gaming environment for everyone. We also encourage you to use the in-game reporting system to provide us with feedback when encountering negative behavior. Let us work together to maintain order and integrity in the Manor.
