To ensure smooth operation, Identity V will issue a hotfix on Thursday, 08:00 (UTC+8).
This week's maintenance will be replaced by a hotfix. The hotfix will begin at 08:00 on May 25, 2023 (UTC+8), during which most of the game modes will remain available, including Quick Match, Custom Mode, Events, and Logic Path. (Note: The entrance to Ranked Match will be closed temporarily during the hotfix. However, Ranked Matches already in progress will not be affected.)
After 10:30 (UTC+8), players will have to exit the game to receive the latest patch. All game modes will be back online once the latest patch is installed (may be subject to postponement should there be any issues).
If there are still players who haven't installed the latest patch after 11:00 (UTC+8), the server will perform a forced update. During this time, these players will be forced to log out, and they will be able to play again once the game client is restarted (may be subject to postponement should there be any issues).

[Moviebuff Treasure Hunt]
- In the corner, a box houses a scattered collection of film reels. Maybe there are surprises inside? Spend Sealing Wax to unlock the "Moviebuff Treasure Hunt" event and obtain the ten prizes hidden within. Each prize offers one reward!
- Open 10 to claim all the rewards, and you will not receive duplicate rewards.

- Added a voice changer to the audio feature for Room Visits. Players may choose the type of sound to change their voice.

- Ganji's (Batter) birthday (May 29) is here and the annual Birthday Party has officially begun. Participate in the event and complete quests to get exclusive birthday rewards! [Battle]
- When the Hunter balloons a Survivor while their ballooning speed changes, the speed of the Survivor being ballooned will also change.
- In Tarot mode, points will only be given to Survivors up to 5 times for using the Toy Merchant's Catapult.
- In Quick Matches, Ranked Matches, and Five-Player Ranked Matches, players who have lost their connection will now have 8 minutes to reconnect before they are removed from a match, and once they are removed, their character will be under AI control.
[Optimized the Darkwoods map]
- Increased the brightness of Darkwoods and improved the overall ambiance.
- Improved the performance consumption of loading Darkwoods.
- Adjusted the location of certain pallets, windows and scene objects.
- Relocated the basement from the middle of the map to the riverside.
- Removed the river's speed reduction effect.
- Increased the speed of the using the Rope Swing as Survivors and removed the Stamina cost as Hunters. Survivors will consume all Stamina when using the Rope Swing and require 30 seconds to recover Stamina.
- Improved the rules for interrupting the Rope Swing. When being interrupted while using the Rope Swing, both Survivors and Hunters will move to the starting point or endpoint of the Rope Swing.
- Removed the Beast Traps in Darkwoods.
[Experience Improvements]
- Added the option to show quick messages in the scene so that players can see teammates' quick messages in chat bubbles during a match. Players can choose whether or not to activate this function in Settings, and it's activated by default. This function is only available in Normal Match, Ranked Match, and Five-Player Ranked Matches.
- Added a Strategy Guide for the Hunter - "Nightmare."
- Added a video saving feature to Five-Player Ranked Matches (only for matches you participated in). This can be enabled in Settings → Replay Cache.
- Improved the performance of the head of the Prisoner's Costume "Osamu Dazai."
[Bug Fixes]
- Fixed an issue in the Daily Quest interface where the EXP level rewards shown weren't synced with the selections made.
- Fixed an issue where the outline of the Mercenary's Costume "Atsushi Nakajima" was abnormal from afar after being rescued by the First Officer.
- Fixed an issue where the icon of the Batter's item bar would show progress when spectating.
- Fixed an issue in Five-player Ranked Match where tapping Continue to spectate after the match would cause graphical errors.
- Fixed an issue where the Priestess's Ultra-long Passage couldn't be used immediately in some situations.
- Fixed an issue where mobile devices would crash when drawing the Dream Witch's Costume "Siren."
- Fixed an issue in Moon River Park where the Toy Merchant would fall onto the slide when she used a Catapult at the roller coaster platform in the middle to launch toward the rails.
- Fixed an issue where the "Little Girl" uses Memory Sync on the "Prisoner" when he wears the Costume "Osamu Dazai" and enters Lost Soul, the "Little Girl" from his view would have graphical errors.
- Corrected the conclusion in the Gamekeeper's Deduction Node 8 - Assault.
- Fixed an issue in matches with the Embalmer where the icons would have anomalies when switching cameras in some situations.
- Fixed an issue where setting a custom Bonded icon position may not take effect for the "Psychologist" and Patient.
